About the most emotional time of your life, and you may not remember a thing! By documenting the birth and first hours of your baby all those moments will last forever. The birth of your child is an exciting occasion. I offer two separate options that help you capture this moment. The first is Labor & Birth where I document your special day. It is my goal to memorialize your labor, delivery and love on film. However, due to the unpredictable nature of childbirth, I cannot guarantee that I can make the whole birth process. For this reason, I call this “off-call” documentary. To secure your spot I request a $400 deposit, with the remainder of the balance to be paid before images are delivered. If for some reason I am not able to attend the birth, your deposit automatically transfers towards a newborn session. The second option is Fresh 48, a lifestyle session in the hospital. With this option I get to capture you and baby during those first few precious hours of life. This session is short and sweet, which allows you to get back to enjoying your bundle of joy without interruption.
Planning
Planning for a birth and fresh 48 (photos within the first days of birth) are more up in the air. We will go over your birth plan and what to expect. Births are considered “off call” and due to the nature of births, I can not guarantee I will be there but will due my best. With that being said, the retainer will get applied to your newborn session if I am unable to make the actual birth. Fresh 48 is a great lifestyle add on to newborn photos, short little session show casing your newest arrival.
The Session
Labor: You will stay in contact with me once you feel like you are going into labor. If you are laboring at home or in the hospital, I do not show up until you are farther along in the laboring process. I will get the play by play and try to attend the grand finally to get as much documentation as possible.
Fresh 48: Just let me know as soon as baby arrives and when I can visit. I will capture images of your newest arrival in a very relaxed and carefree manner. Little to no posing in the first few hours.
Your Images
Images will be delivered via online gallery for viewing, sharing, ordering and downloading. All from the comfort of your couch (or where ever your computer is)! You can do everything yourself or I can also set up a zoom call to help go through your images to select wall art and make your album. You will have the choice of three collections to choose from, pricing starting at $400 with digitals and print credit. This way you can get those beautiful images off your computer and displayed and eventually able to be passed down for generations to enjoy.
